The Inspiration

I got into this line of work accidentally. I was retiring from the USAF as a law enforcement specialist and began work with a temp service. My first job was here and I have been here ever since. My favorite part of working here is that the bosses are fantastic people and encourage you to be the best at what you do.

The Education

Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Community College of the Air Force; Construction Document Technologist (CDT) Certification, The Construction Specifications Institute

The Work

I coordinate the project manuals (specifications) for each project; coordinate and process submittals, RFIs and other construction administration documentation; prepare contracts, agreements and official documentation; and coordinate and schedule Lunch and Learns for our architects to maintain their accreditation with the State of Arkansas and the AIA.

The Weekend

On the weekends, when I am not working on or around my house, we (my wife Karen and I) like attending estate sales, festivals, events and other unique and interesting gatherings around the state. We also like using our timeshare to travel to other parts of the country to sample local fare and see the sights.

FAVORITES
• Structure: anything classic with clean, modern lines
• Character: John Wayne and whatever he played
• Destination: not one area, too much out there to see and experience
• Meal: a perfectly done, medium-rare ribeye steak, hot baked sweet potato and sweet tea
• Drink: I am a modest drinker, local craft beer is my favorite
• Wisdom: My motto is and has always been two part: (1) If you can’t do the time then don’t do the crime, and (2) true character is doing the right thing even if nobody is looking.
