The Inspiration
From early childhood and playing with Erector sets, plastic bricks and Lincoln Logs, I loved how things were built and how complex structures were assembled. Combine this with a love of drawing and architecture and it was the perfect career choice. My favorite part is the completion of a project and a happy, satisfied client!

The Work
Started work as a draftsman for various firms and really drawing with pencil, vellum and ink. This was long before computer-aided drawing (CAD). I became project manager as experience and skills with drawing, organization, specifications and construction administration developed. Special Award: Merit Award for Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Gulf States Region 2013 Project Specification Competition
