The Big Rock Quarry Park project is currently in the design and advocacy phase. This lifestyle park combines public uses, performance spaces, and competition mountain biking facilities. Highlights include a new Arkansas River Trail Pavilion and  trail head, an inclusive playground, and Red Rocks style outdoor amphitheater. This project is currently anticipated to be included as part of a public ballot initiative later in 2023.
